RACHEL SKAFF

AWS

RACHEL (MUSHAHWAR) SKAFF
Director, North America Partner and Channel Sales, AWS
Rachel is the Head of North America Partner Sales at AWS, evolving the organization to be the new
customer‐ and revenue‐scaling engine for AWS by leveraging Partners to accelerate growth, drive
innovation and shape the future.
She is a customer‐obsessed global leader with 25 years of experience developing, implementing and
selling technology. After starting out as an award‐winning engineer in heavy highway construction,
Rachel pursued computer programming – and realized her skillset was better suited to solving customer
problems than writing code. With roots in Enterprise IT, she still feels most comfortable in data centers,
enabling companies to realize the value of innovative technologies from the edge to the cloud.
Before joining AWS, Rachel served as Vice President and General Manager at Intel Corporation,
overseeing US Sales Enterprise, Government and Next Wave Cloud Providers. She led a $5B sales and
marketing organization with a focus on delivering end‐to‐end solutions that addressed real‐world
business problems across Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Autonomous Everything, IOT, HPC, Security, and
everything in between. Prior to Intel, Rachel spent nearly a decade at Petsmart as Vice President, IT
Global Enterprise Applications and Engineering. There she was accountable for developing the vision
and strategy to ensure the company’s technology kept pace with evolving market and organizational
demands. Rachel has also held engineering and technology roles at DHL, Fujitsu Consulting, American
Express and Analysts International Corporation.
Throughout the twists and turns of her career, one constant has been a deep commitment to inclusivity,
diversity and equity. She is passionate about creating high‐performing work environments where all
employees feel represented, respected, valued and empowered. She is an active supporter of STEM
education programs and an advocate for providing the next‐up generations with opportunities to build
the future we all want to live in.
Rachel is an expert speaker on topics ranging from technology and business to women in leadership, and
has been featured in Forbes Magazine, Wall Street Journal Live and NBC Press:Here, among other top
media outlets. She has received top industry accolades including being named among CRN’s 2023
Channel Chiefs, CRN’s Women of the Channel 2023, CIO Views 2023 Most Influential Women in
Business, AZ Business Magazine’s Champions of Change 2023, Chain Store Age’s Top Ten Women in
Technology, and Women’s Wear Daily’s Top Industry Transformers. Additionally, Rachel serves on the
Board of Directors for First Tee Phoenix and the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
Rachel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University (summa cum
laude), an MBA in International Business from Regis University (summa cum laude) and is an alumna of
Columbia’s Graduate School of Business in New York. She lives in the Phoenix area and can be found
hiking, boating and going on off‐the‐beaten‐path travel adventures with her four children.
